Serbian-Hungarian bilateral work shop on the legalization of Mining Act was organized on 29-30 January.
Serbian-Hungarian bilateral consultation on legislative procedure of Mining Acts was organized by MBFSZ on 29-30 January. The Hungarian delegation was led by Zoltán Horváth Head of Department (Ministry of National Development-Department of Energy Management and Mining) and Gábor Zelei president (MBFSZ). Serbia was represented by Milica Zoric Head of Department , Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia-Department of Geology and Mining and her college Dragana Jelisavac Erdeljan.
In the two days long work shop the Serbian partners introduced the Serb Mining Act adapted in 2015 and the cornerstones of the legislative procedure from the initial idea until the implementation. Furthermore the problems of integration and harmonization of the existing Serb legalization with the relevant EU directives were discussed. The parties demonstrated mutually the operations of their countries’ geological surveys and the characteristics of geological data management. Finally, they reviewed the recent cooperative research projects and outlined future scientific opportunities.
